In this paper the use of statements in the form of slogan in the novel The Master and Margarita is analyzed in order to argue at one the same time against its commonplace interpretation, which associates Bulgakov\u27s oeuvre with his life in a thoughtless way, and for the intricacy of Bulga-kov\u27s position towards revolution. This article investigate the connection between literature and power based on the conception of language as a weapon and literature as an apparatus of a sys-tem.
